Danbam Cafe is a Korean-inspired cafe located in Bacuag, Surigao del Norte. The owner and barista, Frances Marie Bernadette “Bam” Olegario opened the cafe last January 7, 2023. The name Danbam means sweet night, and was taken from the Korean drama Itaewon Class. Because of its name, the colors of the cafe also reflect sweetness through pastel colors. An array of drinks can be enjoyed at Danbam, ranging from lemonades, iced tea, hot chocolate, and of course, iced and hot coffee. As of writing, the food menu and other drinks are still being developed.

The owner and barista believes that coffee is a self-care practice-a form of love. She often enjoys her morning coffee while writing down affirmations for herself, and thought about sharing those with her customers. So, every cup entitles customers to one daily affirmation, which is shared through handmade envelopes. This unique experience has been enjoyed by the cafe regulars since.
